In October Mitchell wrapped on Counsels for BBC where he played the role of Ronnie, with filming having taking place in Scotland. In the Summer of 2025 he was nominated at the National Film Awards in the category for Best Supporting Actor in TV for his role in CURFEW, with the show itself winning best Television Drama. Prior to this he filmed on the new HBO/BBC mini series HALF MAN from Richard Gadd, the star and creator of Netflix Baby Reindeer. Mitchell plays series lead Niall in HALF MAN, a role in which he shares with actor Jamie Bell. The show is due to air early 2026.

 

Mitchell features as Oliver Wood in the new immersive Harry Potter audio books from Audible Studios, with the first book due to realise November 2025. ​
